![]() ![]() It’s also worth noting that for all the Exarch’s shy shuffling and tears, there’s really not much in the way of an on screen apology–there’s a lot of making things up to everyone, sure, but also, again, with the intent of his own expense. Cid’s memories in Omega also indicate some loss, some guilt, as he thinks of Crystal Tower and Alexander and events there. ![]() Which is a big part of it, if one assumes there was a camaraderie and friendship. With the importance of the Crystal Tower to Shadowbringers, it should have been mandatory before 5.0′s launch in my opinion interactions with the Exarch are written as assuming that relationship and information are there already. In the immediate aftermath of the Echo in the Umbilicus, where we even see his distressing coercion of a Scion into the lie, there’s a dialogue option or two where the WoL can also be very angry with the Exarch, as much as with Emet-Selch–though all seems forgiven by 5.1, given how the story and interactions from there are written. WoL absolutely has the right to be angry and hurt by the Exarch and how he chose to go about doing things. This gets rambly and can be spoilery though I tried, so have a break Healing class anon here, something I noticed in Shadowbringers is if you think about it? The WoL has quite a few reasons to be pissed at the Exarch (for the sake of those who haven’t gotten to it) forcibly ripped from their world, lied to more than twice, almost dies, and I’m sure I probably missed some stuff. ![]()
